How V'licious Found Me
A Note From Our Founder
I know it says "Founder's Story," but if I'm being completely honest, V'licious found me.
I wasn't setting out to build a feminine wellness brand. I was simply a woman searching for answers.
Like so many women, I was dealing with recurring pH imbalance and discomfort that I didn't fully understand and didn't really want to talk about. I bought product after product that promised relief, only to be met with harsh ingredients that made everything worse. The discomfort. The cycle of temporary fixes that never felt like real solutions.
For over a year, I searched, researched, and tried everything I could find.
*Going Back to My Roots*
Eventually, I stopped looking for the next trendy product and went back to what I already knew.
I grew up in Jamaica, where my grandmother believed that caring for a woman's body started with nature. Herbal baths after childbirth. Coconut oil for comfort. Simple routines passed down from one generation of women to the next that honored the body instead of fighting against it.
It wasn't a wellness trend where I came from. It was simply how women cared for themselves.
Those memories inspired me to research plant-based ingredients and gentle formulations that worked with the body instead of against it.
Looking back, I don't believe any of it was an accident. What felt like one of the most frustrating seasons of my life became the beginning of the purpose God had been preparing me for all along.
*The Moment Everything Changed*
As I began sharing my journey online, something unexpected happened.
Women started flooding my comments and inbox with messages like:
"I've been dealing with this too."
"Nothing I've tried is working."
"Can you help me?"
That's when I realized I wasn't alone.
Thousands of women were silently searching for the same answers. Buying products that weren't serving them, feeling too embarrassed to talk about what they were experiencing, and believing they simply had to live with it.
That frustration became a purpose I couldn't ignore.

I knew God was calling me to create something bigger than a product. A brand that empowered women to take charge of their feminine wellness with thoughtfully chosen ingredients and zero shame. A brand that gave women their confidence back.
In 2019, with just $150 and a whole lot of faith, I took my very first presale order and V'licious was born.
Today, more than 50,000 women have trusted V'licious to be part of their wellness journey. Their stories continue to remind me why this mission matters.
If my journey has taught me anything, it's that no woman should have to navigate her feminine wellness feeling alone.

A Legacy of Care
As V'licious grew, so did my desire to give back.That passion led me to create the Kim K.A.R.E.S. Foundation. "Kim" is the name my family and closest friends in Jamaica have always called me - the name that knew me long before entrepreneurship. Through the foundation, we support women, mothers, children, and families through community outreach, school supply drives, resources, and acts of service.Because care has always extended beyond the products we create.
